‘Great leaders are almost always great simplifiers, who can cut through
argument, debate and doubt, to offer a solution everybody can understand.’
On this note a house wise debate competition was held for classes IX &
XI on the topic ‘GST’. The fine day of weekend Saturday, 25th Nov. 2017 started with
the feelings of raising strong arguments. The event was of Inter house Debate
competition for classes IX & XI. The topic for debate was “Is GST Goods and
services Tax or General Sorrows & Troubles.”
The students of all four houses represented their views in high tone
raising intelligent arguments. The students were well prepared and proved that
they knew how to put their thoughts on ice. Thus, it was a very healthy and
elucidating debate competition.
This debate session gave the day a kick start numbing down the hub hub of
GST. The winner was Fateh Singh House being the top scorer all the way.
