Christmas celebrated

Christmas waves a magic wand over this world, and beholds everything softer and more beautiful. Thus, on the eve of Christmas a short celebration was held in our school. We had the honour to have with us our respected Secretary Sir, on this day Birth of Jesus Christ holds a great significance. Therefore at the initiation of the celebration a short nativity act was presented by the students of classes III – V. To express the heartfelt gratitude to the almighty, and to add divinity to the ambience carol song were presented by students of classes IX-XI.
Christmas celebration was held in Pre-primary section. Tiny tots prepared a skit on the birth of God Jesus. Children came in the get up of mother Merry, Joseph, sheeps and shepherd, kings, fairies and angels. After wards children enjoyed the dance party other students came in Red and white dress. Children were looking stunning in this theme.

Inter class Drama competition

“All the world‘s a stage, and all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many roles".
Drama is one of the best forms to teach enactment and moral values. Thus, an inter class drama competition from classes VI – VIII was organized.  The students of each class got an opportunity to showcase their performing arts. Each class came out with a novel ethical and theatrical presentation. They further enhanced the exquisiteness of the skit by appropriately using their handmade props. Participants contributed their finest to make this competition enjoyable and learning for the spectators.   At the end our respected Principal ma’am Mrs. Gayatri Kulshreshta motivated the students for even better execution and announced the results. Class vii bagged the first position.

See and say and garden play activity

See and say and garden play activity was held in pre primary section of the school. Teachers took the students of all three classes to the garden. First the teachers introduced the activities to the students then one by one students came took an object from the box and they spoke few lines about the object.




Later on students enjoyed some fun games like musical chair, passing the parcel and who posted the letter. Children enjoyed the activity thoroughly. Respected Principal mam Miss Gayatri Kulshreshtha cheered the students. Students were very happy to be with their Principal ma'am.

Children's Day Celebrated As sports Day

Date:-14-11-14 (Friday) Children’s Day the birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, was  celebrated as ‘Sports day’ in the school on Nov 14, 2014. As Jawaharlal Nehru was very fond of children and children also loved him a lot. So his birth anniversary is celebrated as Children’s Day. To make this day fun filled for the children an array of interesting games followed by many entertaining cultural events were organized. The programme commenced with the prayer.







Respected Secretary Sir Gurmeet Singh Ji honoured the seat of chief guest. After prayer student presented welcome cards to secretary sir. Divine Notes Shabad Singing By Students

Education not only comprises studies of books but it is to experience all the aspects of life and work upon overall development of life, inculcating values through those experiences and lead a life in service of humanity. School is a place where we aim to fulfill these criteria and put in all the efforts to train young minds through such experience and contribute their overall development. Spiritual development is one of the major factor which provides the deep roots to a person to be able to stay grounded and live a purposeful life. Keeping all these things in mind the stdents of our school, were taken to perform at Sri Guru Singh Sabha Gurudwara Rajapark, where SriGuru Nanak Jayanti was celebrated on Nov. 6.  The students of classes VIIIth & IXth  performed Shabad “Prabhu ji Prabhu ji Tu Mere Pran Adhar” and “Sa Dharat Bhai Hariyali Hariyali Jithe Mera Satguru Uthe” respectively under the guidance of Mr. Ambrik Singh.

Mentor holds a high place in one’s life. It is believed that the mentor is the person who contributes in overall development of a person, be it personal or spiritual. Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji is one of the prominent Gurus of Sikh communities who inspired people to lead a simple and sacred life yet with purpose of serving humanity to best of one’s capacity. As the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Devji is approaching on November 6, a Nagar Kirtan was organized by Guru Dwara Guru Singh Sabha , Rajapark on November 2,  which commenced from ancient Gurudwara located at Chaura Rasta, moved forward en-route New Gate and ended at Gurudwara Chandi ki Taksal. As Nagar Kirtan commenced the whole environment resonated with “JO BOLE SO NIHAL, SAT SHRI AKAL” and coloured the atmosphere with spiritual colours. ACT AND SAY ACTIVITY

Date:-1-11-14 Act and say activity was held in Pre Primary section of SSPS School. Teachers took all the children in the garden and arranged them in a big circle. 


Teachers explained them about the activity first, then enacted some ‘Stories and Rhymes’ before the students and asked them to identify, Children also enacted some rhymes. Children enjoyed the activity very much. Children learnt the art of  expression (to explain their feeling without saying any words). After the activity children enjoyed the garden play and slides.

SAY NO TO PLASTIC BAGS: SAVE ENVIRONMENT

Date:- 1/11/14 Plastic bags are used by everybody. You get them, right from a vegetable vendor to a designer store. But, most of us are blissfully off the repercussions that are occurring and can take place in the future. These plastic bags Litter the Landscape, Kill Animals, and are Non-biodegradable.They are not only non-biodegradable, but are one of the major pollutants of the sea. So in order to spread awareness among the students “ Say No To Plastic Bags “ house wise competition was held in which each house had to make alternative to plastic bags with the help of waste cloth or jute material. Five students from each house were selected and were given time to prepare the bags with their material. The participants displayed their passion for the activity and very ingeniously prepared bags out of waste jeans, jute and cotton material. National Unity Day!!

Date:-31-10-14 As per CBSE guidelines, the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, was celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Divas(National Unity Day) on 31st October.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was the leader who played a significant role in integration of India, persuading more than five hundred self-governing princely states to merge their separate rights and become one country. To educate students about the importance of observing National Unity Day Ms. Rashmi Soman shared significance of the day. She also shared role of each individual towards attaining the absolute state of unity, integrity and security.  Later, the Head Boy of the school took a pledge followed by the students resonating a fervent urge to work whole heartedly for unity of country. This occasion provided us an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of our country. Diwali Celebrated

India is a land of many festivals and each state and community celebrates several festivals in a year. Diwali is one such occasion. Diwali, a festival of light and prosperity which symbolizes victory of good over evil and of light over darkness to educate the significance of diwali, there was a programme organsied in the school on 18thoct.  The celebration commenced with a poem based on diwali, describing its fervour with which it is celebrated and presented by students of class-I. Later a skit was performed depicting the legend of lord Rama that how he defeated Ravana, who kidnapped Sita, The wife of Lord Rama. Diwali signifies the homecoming of Lord Rama after exile of fourteen years. In the end, a song was presented by a group of students, describing how diwali brings happiness, laughter and prosperity to the society. Thus programme ended with festive note.

Navratra & Dussehra Celebrated

Navratra & Dussehra was celebrated in Pre primary wing of the school. Students came in their traditional dresses with dandiya as Garba dance was organized for our tiny tots. A short skit based on epic Ramayan was presented by the students under the guidance of their teachers. The skit depicted “Raavan Vadh”.
Teachers gave the details about the festival. At last the students and teachers enjoyed the programmed very much.



Educational Tour Organised

Date:-30-9-14 Education is enlightment of oneself to achieve maximum benefit in life by using all the senses activity and bring out holistic growth in a person. There are different ways to provide education to the students. Out of which the most creative and alive is educational tour.
With the consent and blessings of our Honourable Chairman Sir Sardar Ajay Pal Singh Ji and under the guidance of our Secretary Sir Sardar Gurmeet Singh Ji, Saint Soldier Public School Pratap Nagar organized a two day and one night educational tour to Agra and FatehpurSikri on 27/09/14-28/09/14 for classes IX to XII. The tour was organized under the vigilance and assistance of our Vice-Principal Ma’am Ms. Gayatri Kulshreshta embarked for their journey to Agra and FatehpurSikri on27/09/14 from the school premises. 'Special Assembly For Hindi Diwas'

Date: - 12-9-14 Hindi, the mother tongue of India is considered as language of gods and as sacred as the water of holy river 'Ganga'. The mother tongue always plays a vital role in a country’s growth. Though knowledge of foreign language is not harmful but ignoring one’s own mother tongue at price of it is disgraceful. So to educate students about the importance of 'Hindi', a special assembly was conducted on 12thsep. by class VIII A on occasion of ‘Hindi Diwas’, falling on 14th of sep. the students presented whole assembly in Hindi starting from an inspirational thought and followed by news in hindi.

Happy Teacher's day

Date: 4/09/14 On the eve of Teacher’s Day a teacher’s picnic to ‘Swapana Lok Resort’ was organized to rejuvenate and energize the spirit of teachers. It was a very welcome change from their daily routine.All the teachers were dressed in their best and boarded the bus from the school campus at around 11 a: m.The teachers had a great time in the bus and spent their time together by taking pleasure of the different games played during the bus journey. We reached at the resort at around 12 noon where the teachers were provided with a welcome drink. The whole day was spent with their colleagues, in a completely carefree manner. To add more fun to this short and sweet picnic our principal ma’am had organized a few fun filling games like “Lemon on Bottle”, “Catching Balls” etc for the teachers. It was the most interesting and enjoyable session of the day. Each teacher got a break to become a child once again and thoroughly enjoyed the game session. Flower Rangoli Competition

Date: 06/09/14 Onam is one of the most popular Hindu festivals of south India. On this occasion people wear new clothes, decorate their houses and put flower carpet called ‘ Pookalam’ in front of their houses, to welcome king Mahabali.


Thus to mark this festival a class wise flower rangoli competition was organized for class’s ix and x in the activity hall. There were six participants from each class. All the participants got various colourful flower petals. The students marvelously decorated their rangoli with colourful petals and leaves.

Teachers day Celebrated!!

‘’You guided me when I was lost; you supported me when I was weak. You have enlightened me all through.” 5th September birth day of Sarvapalli Radha Krishnan is celebrated world wide as teacher’s day. The students came out with a small cultural programme for the teachers. The celebration initiated with the warm welcome of our respected principal ma’am followed by the teachers. The programme initiated with a song presented by our tiny tots of pre primary section followed by a short skit presenting the role a teacher plays in the upbringing of an individual. Thereafter a song was presented by the senior students thanking all the teachers for being a source of inspiration and to be with them all through their difficult times. Thereafter the senior students presented stupendous group and solo dance performances energizing the ambience. Class Mein Blast Activity

Date:-28-8-14 “Class Mein Blast” Activity was conducted in school, presented by Nickelodeon cartoon channel. The students of 2nd to 8th standard participated in it. Many cartoon video were shown to the students which were followed by questions based on those and gifts too to the correct answers. First video was of cartoon “Pakdam Pakdai”.
Next activity was “Dog and “Bone” game where-in 12 students were called and divided into teams. The team with maximum number of handkerchief picking was announced winner. Later “Story Telling” presented by “Chericof Cough syrup” was conducted. The team which framed the best story using provided five lines on “Chericof” was announced winner. Post this activity a Drawing Competition was introduced wherein students will have to draw cherry fruit as a “Superhero” and name it also. In the last the students were made to play “Tug of war” presented by Act-11 popcorn. There were five students in each team.

Become a magician Activity

Become a Magician activity was held in pre-primary section of the school. The teachers brought material (in prior) they shown them magic trick of science like the importance of oxygen in the atmosphere, How the colour of turmaric becomes red while used with detergent and again turns into yellow when some lemon drops are rubbed an turmeric socked clothes and how a pencil seems bent in the half glass of water. The teachers also explained that these magic tricks are actually illusions.
